This week, we say goodbye to the month of May and hello to June. It’s hard to believe that there is only one month left in this school year! As we approach one of the busiest times of the year, please remember to enjoy the moments, to take care of yourself and to breathe. There is always something to be grateful for and to savour each day.

All students will leave their iPads at school, beginning June 7. They will still have access to them during the instructional day, but IT will be performing updates and services that require that the devices remain in the building for the remainder of the school year.
Students must also be sure to return their cables and adaptors. On June 18, our IT staff will collect all iPads from classrooms.
library reminders
STUDENT & PARENT BOOKS:
All books for students and parents were due on Sunday, May 27. Please send books back to the school on Sunday. There is a reward for the first class per grade that returns all of their books!
BOOK Fair
Our book fair starts on Sunday, June 3 - Wednesday June 6 from 7:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. It’s a great idea to stock up on summer reading now! Don’t miss it!
Seesaw End-of-Year Information for Parents
Please note that we will be archiving ALL Seesaw classes on Thursday, June 28, 2018.
As our school is subscribed to a full ‘Seesaw for Schools’ plan, this means that you will still have access to your child’s work and journal even once a class has been archived.
As long as your child remains at DAA, you will be able to see his/her archived classes in the Seesaw Family app and download a .zip file of all your child’s work. When your child completes Grade 5 or if you leave DAA, you will still be able to download a .zip file with all of your child’s work.
Please note that downloading your child’s journal can only be completed when you are logged in to your Seesaw Family account from a desktop computer.
