ELEMENTARY
December 9, 2021
Dear Elementary Families,
Today is the last day of school for 2021!
NEW IN 2022!
As you know the UAE has announced a change to the work week in 2022. As such we have adjusted our elementary schedule to reflect this change.
Highlights
We have shifted whole days to accommodate the Monday to Friday move.
There will no longer be early dismissal on Tuesdays.
Monday to Thursday our blocks will continue to be 45 minutes. Fridays will be 40 minutes to accommodate all lessons.
Each grade/class has a 20 minute break time on Friday. There will be no lunch break.
What do you need to know for our return to school on Monday, January 3rd?
The way you have prepared for every Sunday this school year will remain the same. You will now just prepare it for Monday. The schedule for the first day of the week will remain the same in 2022.
On Monday, January 3rd our teachers will send you the details of when your child has specialist teachers so you can be aware of any changes in the week.
Here is a copy of our timetable for the rest of the year:

KG1 Learning
The past few weeks have been very eventful for KG2FP class children. We had valuable experiences to broaden the children’s cultural understanding of the community that they live in. One of our highlights was a field trip to the Mobility Pavilion at the Expo. The children enjoyed visiting three different country exhibits and they made connections with our learning about different communities.
At school, the children attended a virtual UAE National Day assembly and they were exposed to the UAE culture as they visited the DAA UAE Heritage Village. They engaged in activity centers that included: The UAE flag tattoos and Henna, Arabic sweets station, Pin the Camel game, and watching the live UAE show of dancers and jugglers.
The last week of school involved a variety of dress up days. Children looked very cute in their Pajamas.
Wishing you and your loved ones peace, health, happiness and prosperity in the coming New Year.
