Codeaver Event
Dear DAA Families,
We are inviting your children to take part in a worldwide coding competition!
Codeavour 2021 is an online AI and Coding competition where children all around the globe utilize their imagination and coding skills to solve real-world issues.
Any student aged 7-18 years old is eligible to participate, in the following three age groups: Elementary (7-10 years old), Junior (11-14 years old) and Senior (15-18 years old). Students can participate alone or with another student categorized in the same age group.
The goal of this competition is to address one of the following themes: Strengthening the Health Infrastructure, Automating the Surroundings, Making Smart Transportation Systems, Entertaining the World, Saving the Environment, and Exploring the Outer World. Students will use a block coding software called Pictoblox to address them, this software is capable of being paired with some hardware but it is not required (Pairable hardware listed on the codeavour.org website).
Participants must register on the codeavour.org website on January 25th, 2022 and project submission is due on January 31st, 2022. Winners will be announced on February 28th, 2022.
