Pink Bazaar - oct. 24th
On October 24th, as part of our Wellness Awareness Month, DAAPA will have its annual PINK BAZAAR!
Dress in White and / or pink and meet us in our school atrium to discover all the goodies available for purchase (price range 5 to 50AED).
Pins, Hair bands, Beauty products, Flowers, and some wonderful students led initiatives with scarves and bracelets… Shop till you drop… or play our Lucky Guess to win some great prizes.
Our Popcorn stand will also be open that day for comforting food and drinks!
Make sure you stop by at drop-off or pick-up time or send your kids with some money on that day to contribute to a great cause.
All the funds collected will be donated to Al Jalila Foundation Brest Friends.

Join the DAA Cooking Club for coffee at Slices on October 28th at 7:45am.
Prepare to chop, cut, julienne, and slice along with fellow community members of DAA. We will pour through our collective knowledge, sieve out the best ideas, and bake our way into new culinary delights.

Calling together all those with Pinterest interests to flex your creative muscles.
Artistic skills well-honed or just emerging, all skill levels welcome.
Engage in creative projects with materials of minimal mess (or $ investment) such as: pencils, pens, markers, pencil crayons, modelling clay, oil pastels, chalk pastels, photography, or good old recycled materials.
Projects may include: zen-doodling, mandalas, colouring books, henna, rock painting, card-making, photos, or creative projects of a variety of ilk.
Fun group activities or inspire us with your own projects.
Fall is here! DAAPA is pleased to announce the return of the PUMPKIN PATCH!
Pumpkin patch order forms were sent home earlier this week with Kg1-grade 5 students. If you would like to order your very own pumpkin, return this form along with exact change to your classroom teacher by Tuesday, October 22nd. Kindly note that the pumpkins are sourced locally and vary in shape and color. No pumpkins are allowed on the buses.
MIDDLE / HIGH School students, this year you can order too! If you would like to purchase pumpkins, the cost is AED 45 each. Please bring exact change and collect an order form from your divisional office.
Send us a picture of your carved pumpkin on and join our PUMPKIN CARVING COMPETITION. There will be prices awarded to the best carved pumpkins in 4 categories: Early Years, Elementary, Middle and High School.

FALL FESTIVAL DECORATIONS
Hailing All Halloween Decorators....
Spooky Decoration Day is set for October 23rd, 9am!
Meet at the middle school office (directly after week without walls meeting), 9am.
Our ghastly plan is to prepare the backdrop of four common areas in the middle school. Each area will showcase the MS Halloween Art.
Fall is here!
Join the great team of decorating parents at the primary school foyer 8am Tuesday October 2018 in completing the transformation of our early years and upper elementary school areas.
