What's Coming Up at DAA
Mental Health Week
All students (both on campus and at home) can dress in GREEN shirts on Tuesday October 13th
(bottoms can be uniform or blue unripped denim)Students will have an opportunity to wear green masks (provided by the school) on October 15th
We will be increasing our knowledge about mental health across the school in a variety of ways, including opening up the dialogue and supporting and encouraging those who may be suffering to speak out.
Professional Learning Days are coveted days of reflection and refinement of skills and practice for our teachers. As these upcoming days offer a time away from school for our students, please be mindful of the COVID19 restrictions on gathering and social distancing. We appreciate everyone's efforts to keep our community safe and healthy.
On Tuesday October 20th, students are asked to dress in PINK to support Breast Cancer Awareness month, which occurs during the month of October. On Thursday October 22nd students and staff will have an opportunity to wear pink masks provided by the school.
We have also partnered with Al Jalila Foundation to help raise funds for cancer research and raise awareness for this important cause. We have placed donation cylinders provided to us by Al Jalila Foundation on campus for those who wish to contribute and donate and support cancer research.
