Our ES and MS athletic team signups fall under the following categories:
Mini & Junior Leopards Teams - Grades 2-6 (unlimited spaces)
Middle School Athletics Teams - Grades 6-8 (selection through tryouts)

ACTIVITIES
TERM ONE INTERNAL ACTIVITIES
IMPORTANT SIGN UP DETAILS
Registration of all internal (free and offered by DAA Staff) and external (paid and offered by External Providers) activities will be through the ESM portal.
In order to provide and collect all the information in a timely manner we require our DAA parents to fill out all fields and information asked of them during sign ups on the ESM portal.
Please ensure that you have the following information at hand before signing up and entered correctly, leaving no field blank as that requires for us to enter information manually for each student significantly delaying the data collection process:
Name of student, Student ID number, Parent’s email, Grade, Section, Contact number
Enter your child’s name and spelling as it appears in GEMS connect (parent portal) as well as their Student ID number.
Please note that the Student ID number is not the same as their Emirates ID number. You may find the student ID number on your GEMS connect and the back of your lanyard. For example- 12400100234567 or 234567
The phone number and email address entered should be in use as all after school activity communication will be sent to that email address and phone number
For any information regarding external activities (paid activities run through ESM external providers) please reach out to jay.k@esm.ae (copying in athletics_daa@gemsedu.com), for internal activities (free run through DAA Staff) please reach out to athletics_daa@gemsedu.com
Our team will take one week after registrations close for data collection
Confirmation of registration for external activities will be sent through external providers while confirmation for all internal activities will be shared through the Athletics Office (confirmation of registration for internal activities from the ESM portal does not confirm your child’s spot in the activity of interest)

Centre for Musical Arts (CMA) is proud to continue offering instrumental music lessons to students at GEMS Dubai American Academy. Our programme is thriving, with our current students making excellent progress and we invite new students to join our instrumental programme in school. Spots are limited, so we recommend registering your child promptly to secure a place.
Our lessons take place during the school day on a rotational basis to ensure that students do not miss the same classroom subject each week. Classroom teachers have access to our schedule and can adjust their lessons accordingly. Depending on the instrument and student level, CMA offers individual and group lessons. Group lessons (up to 4 students) are available for most instruments, with the exception of piano, voice, and drum kit, which require individual tuition. Group lessons are for beginners only, subject to availability and demand, and students are encouraged to switch to individual lessons after one year.
Fees Per Term
Individual Lessons: AED 1850 (30 minutes x 10 sessions)
Group Lessons: AED 1100 (30 minutes x 10 sessions) - Maximum 2-4 students
