SPRING BAZAAR

We are thrilled to announce that DAAPA’s Spring Bazaar is BACK! 🌼🌷🌺🛍️ Below is all the essential information you need to participate:

📅 Date & Time:

• February 5th & 6th, 2024

• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

📍 Location:

• To be announced

🛍️ Vendor Eligibility:

• Open to DAA parents and their friends.

• Food Vendors: Must have a valid license. DAA is a nut-free school, so all food items must include labeled ingredients.

• Toy Vendors: Must present samples of their items for approval (some toys are not permitted 🚫). Stands will be checked by school staff and DAAPA members.

💰 Table Rental Fees:

• AED 200 for 1 table (covers both days)

• AED 300 for 2 tables (covers both days)

• Each vendor may rent up to 2 tables, with location priority given to DAA parents.

📝 Sign-Up & Payment Details:

• Dates: January 27th – January 29th

• Times:

• Drop-off: 7:00 AM – 8:10 AM

• Pick-up: 2:00 PM – 3:10 PM

• Location: School Main Lobby

• Note: Tables are limited due to space, so sign up early to secure your spot!

HIKING CLUB

This past Tuesday, eight DAA Parents met each other for the first time to hike in Ras Al Khaimah. We met at school drop off at 7:15 AM, and made our way for just an over an hour drive to the trail head to start the hike at 9AM. We trekked 5miles across Wadi Shawkah Dam Trail with a shady lunch stop and plenty of rest stops under the rest areas. (Our pictures hopefully interest you to share this beautiful space with your family and friends. ) To share we made it back to DAA by 2PM. (Just in time for pick up) come join DAAPA CLUBS, and find something NEW that fits you!

BOOK CLUB

The DAAPA Book Club is a long-standing parent club that meets once a month, right after morning drop-off. Each month, we vote to select a book to read from a wide range of genres. 

Nidhi Bruce, DAA parent and published author shares her thoughts about the club : “The book club has given me an opportunity to share my love of books with other DAA parents, expand the range of books I choose to read, and even meet some wonderful authors along the way.”

Do join us for a lively, engaging discussion and discover incredible books you might not have picked up otherwise.
