Dear Dubai American Academy Leopards,

As we conclude Teacher Appreciation Week, a tremendous thank you again to our amazing teachers and staff members who help students learn, grow, and thrive! We appreciate the hard work of our community throughout the year, and we are glad to have formal times such as these for sharing heartfelt thanks. Great thanks to our DAAPA organization and families throughout the school who have helped celebrate our teachers with a splendid luncheon and innumerable kind gestures of appreciation!

A great thanks is also due to our DAA students, families, teachers, staff, and supporters who helped us gain recognition by SchoolsCompared and WhichSchoolAdvisor as shortlisted for the 2023-24 Top Schools Awards for Best American School and Best Blended International Baccalaureate School in the United Arab Emirates. Commendations such as these result from the DAA community pulling together for our students, resulting in high achievement and success. 

A final important note regards a scheduled school half-day for DAA on Thursday, May 25. During first semester, circumstances required us to convert the intended half-day Diwali half-day to a full day.  The rescheduled half-day on May 25 respects our need to make-up the half-day and is also a timely help for students and families preparing for prom and graduation that weekend. Friday May 26 will remain a half-day as scheduled.
