To all Leopards,

We hope that you had a wonderful summer holiday, and we hope that you are just as excited about the upcoming school year as we are.

As mentioned in the final SPOTS newsletter from last school please take the time to review the Sports Offerings for 2022-23. Of course, offerings are based on student interest, coaching staff and facilities. However, we are excited to be able to expand our program.

We would like to take this opportunity to inform students regarding two very important meetings before the sporting year takes place at the beginning of the school year. These meetings are for students who are looking to register, try-out and have an opportunity to be selected to represent DAA on our competitive teams.

Both meetings will take place in the Auditorium and will be after school starting at 15:15 and will end at16:15. These meetings are mandatory if students want to be apart of DAA teams. Below you will find information regarding our Season One competitive sports program:

Finally, some news regarding our After School Activities program for KG2 to Grade 8 students. On Thursday September 1st, before school there will be an Activities Fair outside by the Center of Excellence.

This fair is an opportunity for parents to gather information regarding the Activities Program, meet 3rd party providers from ESM. Below you will find important dates and information:

If there are any questions you can contact the Athletics Office in person or by emailing: s.hibbard_daa@gemsedu.com

We look forward to you getting involved in a great program.
