Welcome back DAA parents! We hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer and that you and your children are ready for the new academic year. 

For those of you who are new to DAA and don’t know us, The Dubai American Academy Parent Association (DAAPA) supports the development of the unity among parents, faculty, administration, students and staff by cooperating to enrich the lives of the students and guide parents towards a better understanding of the aims, policies and philosophy of Dubai American Academy. The achievement of this mission relies upon parent cooperation and volunteerism, by parents like you!


The parents listed to the left and below have been elected as the DAAPA Executive Committee for 2021-2022 and with your help, we will be planning this year’s events. 

Communication

DAAPA uses the SPOTS newsletter to communicate information regarding our planned activities, events, coffee mornings, clubs etc with you. Although there is still uncertainty about what we’ll be able to do on campus this year, we will certainly do our very best to make this a fantastic year for our school community.

Celebrating Seniors

FIRST ON THE AGENDA....


It has been a long standing DAAPA tradition to celebrate our Seniors throughout the year by hosting various events. True to this tradition, we were able to welcome them back on the first day of school with balloons and cookies!

We have planned Zoom coffee mornings for each of the school divisions where DAAPA will be joined by representatives from our Senior leadership teams from each division.

Leopards' Den

The Leopard’s Den is our on campus shop for DAA spirit wear run by DAAPA. We sell hoodies, house color shirts, caps etc, but no uniforms. The shop is usually open on campus but we are still awaiting approval for the reopening of our shop. More information will be communicated in the next SPOTS issue.

* Please print the Order Form and fill out what you would like to purchase

* Place the Order Form and the Money (exact amount) in a sealed envelope
