MESAC AT DAA: February 7th, 8th and 9th.
This Friday 7th February, we are thrilled to be welcoming 150 incredible athletes from 6 schools across the Middle East and South Asia region, as we proudly host the 2025 MESAC Junior Varsity Basketball Championships here at DAA. Friday marks the beginning of an action-packed 3 days of high quality, high-drama, high octane basketball!
Our mighty DAA boys and girls JV basketball teams have been training hard, and your support can make a huge difference! Come join us in cheering them on and let’s fill the stands with Leopard pride and enthusiasm. Concessions will be available, so bring the whole family and enjoy a fantastic weekend of sport and school spirit.
Tournament Details:
Dates: Friday, February 7th - Sunday, February 9th
Location: DAA High School Gym
Refreshments: Will be available to purchase from Booster Club throughout all 3 days.

Schedule: All Friday morning games will be attended by DAA students during school time. After dismissal on Friday at 12pm, please feel free to come and enjoy the spectacle. The tournament schedule is below for your reference, and live links and results can be found on the MESAC website

Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your skills, our expert instructors are here to guide you every step of the way. Lessons will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Weekend Football Community Sessions
Weekend Football Community Sessions for children aged 2.5–6 years.
Currently, our academy sessions at DAA take place on weekends from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM, primarily serving families outside the school community. By introducing earlier sessions, we aim to directly engage DAA families, offering a fantastic opportunity for young children to experience football in a fun, structured, and supportive environment.

To encourage participation, we are delighted to offer:

✅ 20% off all subsequent sessions for DAA families
Proposed Session Details
📅 Dates: Saturdays & Sundays, starting 8th & 9th February 2025
⏰ Timings: 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM (45 min sessions)
📍 Location: Dubai American Academy (DAA)
👦👧 Age Group: 2.5–6 years
To facilitate this initiative, we kindly request earlier access to either the Elementary Hall or the New Middle School Hall on these days.
