message from our sUPERINTENDENT, dR. ETHAN HILDRETh
Greetings DAA Leopards,
As we continue the good work on site enhancements to support student learning and wellbeing, we accelerate into the rhythm of the school year with academics, projects, activities, and athletics. All dimensions of school life are now well underway and what a tremendous school year it is! Thanks to all for the amazing collaboration between school and home.
Students, let me remind each of you to read, read, read. Reading is your ticket to great adventures and academic progress. A habit of reading truly is the silver bullet for success. Parents, please help encourage your child in that priceless habit of daily reading.
And to every member of our wonderful school community, thank you for together building our culture of kindness. Make each day a little bit brighter for someone – live the DAA culture of kindness!
Kindest regards,

Campus enhancements
Another week into the school year means more highlights to share of our campus enhancements:
Completion of one of three new Elementary playgrounds, featuring running water and contoured hills, providing a dynamic and engaging space for our little leopards.
A new ES Makers space, where AI and Robotics classes have already taken place.
The opening of our expanded seating and climate-controlled space in our canteen for MS/HS students.
We look forward to continuing to share more enhancements across the year!
slices
We're delighted to announce that members of our school operations team have attained the TSI Quality Services Person-in-Charge L3 Award. This achievement signifies that both our school management and the Slices team have designated PICs (Persons-in-Charge) who are trained and certified in food safety. In addition to this accomplishment, our school operations have also successfully completed their Food Safety certifications (Pictured: Jemma & Sushil).
Furthermore, we are pleased to share that Slices has once again maintained its exceptional Gold A-star rating from the Dubai Municipality Food Safety Department. This recognition highlights our unwavering commitment to ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality for our DAA community.

DAA Listens
At DAA we are committed to communicating effectively with our families. We believe that open communication between home and school is a vital component of our student’s success.
We are excited to continue our communication channel within our school community, DAA Listens. By scanning this QR code you will be able to share your compliments, comments or concerns directly with our Superintendent Dr Hildreth. There are 6 mailboxes located around the school, where students and parents can drop a postcard. Either method will ensure that Dr. Hildreth will receive the communication and that a member of staff will be back in touch with you quickly.
Your voice is highly valued and we look forward to listening to your feedback as we collectively seek to enhance every student’s experience at our school.
