MIDDLE SCHOOL
June 30, 2022
Dear DAA Middle School Families,
I would like to take a moment to say thank you for your support throughout the school year. You have been patient as we have tried to navigate through all of the hurdles that COVID-19 has presented us all while keeping expectations high for our learning community.
This past week, we said “farewell” to our Grade 8 students. Though most of them are only heading upstairs, we’ll still miss seeing them in the MS halls and are thankful for the memories. We had a wonderful ceremony where we were able to celebrate their learning!
To finish out our school year, we will be holding our June Week activities (see details below), and the Student Council sponsoring a spirit week!
It has truly been a pleasure having your students with us all year. As we head into summer, I would like to wish you a healthy, relaxing, and energizing time with family and friends. I look forward to us coming back together for your children in the fall.
Report cards and map progress reports
Middle School report cards were emailed home on June 24th and the MAP progress reports will be sent home today, so keep an eye on your inbox!
Just a reminder that in order to receive your child's reports, all fees must be paid and your child's iPad/charging cables and library books should be returned.

summer learning
Once again, we have readied the summer learning site for our middle school students, so they have an opportunity to keep their skills up over the break. This is optional, but a great way to pass the summer hours!
Ms art exhibition
Congratulations to all our talented and creative Middle School Artists, who completed a variety of fabulous artworks over the course of the semester. Here is a digital exhibition with many of the artwork completed. Please don’t forget to come and take your art home. It is currently being stored in T83, T84 and Commons 1. Students in grade 8 can keep their sketchbooks, grade 7 students please keep them safe for next year! We hope you all have a fabulous summer break and get the time to visit some galleries and exhibitions.
Mr. Murphy, Miss Eversteyn and Miss Ambrocio.
