High School Counseling Office

We are very excited about our new Parent Resource Cabinet filled with information about the DAA curriculum, four-year academic planning, and university counselling materials. The cabinet is located in the High School Library next to the Librarian’s office.

This cabinet in no way replaces what the High School Counselors do but simply provides you easy access to DAA academic resources. If you would like to see something added to the cabinet, please do not hesitate to email your student’s counselor.

Thank you to all of the parents who attended Thursday’s GPA presentation. As promised, here is the link to the Powerpoint presentation. In addition, here is the link to the Program of Studies and the High School Profile, and a copy of the Pathways Night presentation.

Arabic 5 Main Topics Project

The Grade 11 IB Arabic students have been involved in the creation of various digital and technological projects to help them with the learning of the 5 main topics in the course.

They have developed a creative method to display these core topics, using a variety of materials, including paper, Play-Dough, the VR headsets and drones.

They transferred their ideas from the papers they had displayed them on to the nanobot Sky, designed to help mothers with activities in their daily home life. This has also helped them develop their Arabic language skills.

Dodge-Ball Sevens

Thanks to our Student-Government for organizing another fantastic event. Well done to the Jr. Girls for coming out on top in the dodgeball games. Also a huge congratulations to the Senior Boys their decisive win in the the cheerleading competition.

We really hope to see you at the International Food Festival on Friday and don't forget you are more than welcome to support TEDx (2:00 pm) and the IB Art Exhibition (11:30 am) that will be happening on Saturday.
