FROM THE ES PRINCIPAL'S DESK
October 4th, 2018
For those families who didn't quite have a chance to read through Mr. Cantlie's most recent letter to elementary parents, we have reproduced it below.
Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we would like as a community to support all the people who are combating cancer. To show our commitment, we will be having a “dress down” day on Thursday, October 11th. Students may come to school in a “regular” pink top, coupled with a DAA uniform bottom. We ask that students that choose to participate in this dress down day, are mindful and respectful of the UAE local culture.
We thank you for your support of our school initiatives.
Stu Williamson will have an order desk at DAA on Wednesday October 10th during drop-off and pick-up times.
The photographs that were recently taken of your child are now available to order on the Stu Williamson website/app. Please log on to www.stu.ae and enter the personal password that will be found on the card your child brought home. If you did not receive the card, or have mislaid it, you can call the Stu Williamson head office on 04 388 3382 and they will assist you. The deadline for ordering is 4th October and you will receive your photos 10-14 days after that. If you have any questions please call the Stu Williamson head office on the above number.
Already September closed and an elementary coffee morning has happened! Homeroom parents have been appointed for almost all classes and for the very few that have not please feel free to sign up. Committees have started working on the fall festival which will take place on Wednesday October 31st during school hours.
