ELEMENTARY essentials

FROM THE ES PRINCIPAL'S DESK

August 30, 2018

Dear Elementary School Families,

On behalf of the Elementary School Leadership Team, we would like to welcome you to the new school year!

My name is Craig Cantlie and I am thrilled to be writing to you as the new Executive Principal of Elementary. I come to the school as a leader, a husband of a Dubai American Academy Middle School Teacher, and a Grade 2 parent. Being part of Dubai American Academy is certainly a family affair for me and I am so pleased to be among the new staff members joining this community of exceptional educators.

This year, to build greater community, continuity, and connections within the school, we have a new structure that brings the elementary school together as a whole. As such, when you hear the words “elementary school” this year, it will include students in KG1 to Grade 5. To ensure success for our students within this new elementary school structure, we have a leadership model that will fully support all facets of student growth.
