The Book Fair is coming!

Our annual book fair, presented by Bookworm Inc will be back to DAA during the first week of November. Students will be given a chance to visit the displays in the First Floor Hallway with their teachers from November 3rd to 7th. Parents are also welcome to drop in before or after school to shop. Envelopes will be sent home with students the week before, in case parents choose to send in money with their child to make a purchase.

Dubai Fitness Challenge Intro.mov

We have lined up a month of activities for teachers, students and for our parent community. For elementary students in particular, we are offering some before school sessions of badminton, dodgeball, biking and running, as well as yoga after school. Check the calendar!

Pink and White Day - Oct 24

The ES is presenting a fun event for all ES students, on Thursday October 24! As October is our Wellness Awareness Month, and as part of the Dubai 30x30 Fitness Challenge, all Elementary students will take to our track for a 20 minute Fun Run/Walk. It will be our Pink and White Day, where students are encouraged to wear pink and / or white clothes, suitable for being outside and moving. Running shoes please!! It is highly recommended that students wear a hat, and bring a full water bottle.

For those students wearing pink and / or white, we are doing so to show our support for those who are affected by all types of cancer. We encourage students to give a donation of 5 dirhams for this dress-down opportunity. The money will be collected, and sent by our ES Admin to our charity of choice, to go towards Cancer Research.

Staff and Students are challenged to complete as many laps of the track as they can, by either walking or running. Running lanes are the inside 3 lanes (lanes 1, 2 and 3), and walking lanes are the outside 3 lanes (lanes 4, 5 and 6). All students have been practicing for the past week! Please see timings below:
