The GEMS Scholarship program is now open for grades 6-12. The last day for scholarship applications is May 31, 2019. Terms and Conditions apply. Please see our website for further details.

Our re-enrollments for next year will be open soon! If you are leaving Dubai and not returning to DAA next year, please inform our Admissions team and complete the TC request through the GEMS Parent Portal.

For our families who are looking for ways to save on their child's tuition fees, we invite you to take advantage of the GEMS Ambassador Programme. If you introduce a new family or friend to the GEMS community, you can earn back a minimum of 4% and up to 100% of your child’s annual tuition fee in the form of GEMS Points which will be redeemable against school fees. dAAPA - IFF update !

IFF will take place on March 15th!

IFF ticket sales will begin the week of February 24th in the atrium during drop off and pickup. Entrance tickets AED40 and raffle tickets AED10. Tickets must be purchased before the event. There will be no ticket/raffle sales on the day of the event.

The Leopards have returned from two great weekends of MESAC Tournaments and Events where our students and coaches represented themselves and the school in exemplary fashion. Results and photos will be posted in the next SPOTS newsletter. Season 3 has gotten underway with nearly 450 students signing up to participate. As you can see there is a lot of great things happening around DAA Athletics and Activities.

Registrations for Grade 4, 5 and 6 Jr EAC Basketball are now open!

This league begins the week of Feb 24th and finishes on Saturday May 4th.

All DAA students in Grades 4, 5 and 6 participating in Jr EAC Basketball are required to complete the registration form on this link:

There is valuable information at the top of the registration form, please read it carefully before filling it out.

DAA Swimming teams have participated in the Middle East Unity Cup last weekend.

Our school has collected 32 medals overall! Congratulations to all of our athletes!

We had special guest at DAA this week. A group of swimmers from Norway used our amazing facilities to practice before the Middle East Open and Junior Championship at Hamdan Sports Complexe. Thank you to Victoria Bergeli, one of our elite swimmers for inviting them.


Lost & Found Notice

Our Lost and Found is overflowing once again. If your child has misplaced uniforms, hoodies, water bottles or other items at school, please have a look through the Lost and Found collection that will be displayed out in front of the school from Feb. 17th onwards. All unclaimed items will be donated after April 21st!

MARCH 2 - 9 NBA BASKETBALL CAMP AT DAA!

The Varkey Foundation is launching ‘The Assembly: a Global Teacher Prize Concert’ to thank teachers for their unsung work and spread the message of teacher respect to the next generation. There are a limited number of tickets available for a 20% discount for GEMS Parents!

The Mini Dash encourages kids to get active in a fun setting with their families. It is a fun run and activity village with many different activities and sports for ages 5-13 years old. It is accessible to all fitness levels and encourages children to try out healthy activity in an unintimidating environment. The Mini Dash promotes a healthier lifestyle for families in Dubai.
